The Tradies Canberra Raiders 2011 Campaign Is Underway

Tuesday, 8th March, 2011

Play time is over.

The Green Machine is gearing-up for its first hit-out that counts this year with a home-game on Sunday against the Sharks.

Following a strong finish to the 2010 season and led by a monster forward pack equal to anything the other clubs can dish out, there are high expectations on The Tradies Canberra Raiders in 2011, a season which just happens to coincide with their 30th anniversary.

But the finals are a long way off and before they can entertain any ideas of taking part, they need a strong start to the season. It begins this week and they need your support.

Members of The Tradies can purchase discounted tickets from both The Dickson and Woden Tradies.

We have inner bowl tickets available for only $20. That's a saving of $8 compared to pre-sale tickets online and even more compared to tickets at the gate. As always, we only have a limited supply so get in early to avoid disappointment.

New for this season we also have a small number of grandstand tickets available from The Dickson Tradies only. These tickets come with a $14 food and beverage voucher which makes them worth $48 if you bought pre-sale tickets online (and even more if you bought them at the gate). We're selling them for only $35 each.

Because we only have a few, they are only available at The Dickson Tradies, but members of The Woden Tradies are of course welcome to buy them.

Again this year there will be a free bus leaving The Dickson Tradies approximately one hour prior to each game. Afterwards you can catch it back to the club where the team do their after-match presentations and celebrations.

This week is going to be even bigger than usual as we have the official Black Opal Stakes after-party on the same night. With Monday being a public holiday, Sunday is going to be a massive night at The Dickson Tradies. Don't miss it!

Raiders vs. Sharks kicks off at 2pm.
Free bus leaves The Dickson Tradies at 1pm (limited seats so get in early).
