• Promotion Period

  • The Ultimate Fishing Giveaway promotion commences on Saturday, 1 August 2026 and concludes at 6:59pm on Saturday, 24 October 2026. Information on how to enter and details of the prize form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. 

• Eligibility

  • EEntry is open to current financial members of the Canberra Tradesmen's Union Club. 

  • Directors, employees, contractors of the Club and their spouses or partners are not eligible to enter. 

  • Entrants must be 18 years of age or older. 

• How to Enter

  • Members receive one (1) digital entry for every $20.00 spent in a single Food & Beverage transaction. 

  • Entries are automatically recorded through the Club's Point of Sale (POS) system. 

  • Multiple entries may be earned within a single transaction (e.g. a $60.00 transaction earns three (3) entries). 

  • Eligible transactions must occur between 7:30am and 4:00am during the promotion period. 

  • Members must present their membership card at the time of purchase. If the card is not presented or recognised by the POS system, no entries will be awarded. 

• Major Prize

  • One (1) prize package comprising: 

    • Quintrex F370 Outback Explorer 

    • Mercury 25ELHPT Four-Stroke Outboard 

    • Dunbier Galvanised Trailer 

    • $500 retail value of miscellaneous fishing and boating equipment 

    Total Prize Value: RRP $13,495 (including GST). 

    The major prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. If any component becomes unavailable, the promoter reserves the right to substitute a component of equal or greater value. 

• Major Draw

  • The draw will be conducted at 7:00pm on Saturday, 24 October 2026 at The Dickson Tradies, 2 Badham Street, Dickson ACT 2602. 

  • The winner will be selected by a random electronic draw from all eligible entries recorded in the Club's Point of Sale system. 

  • The winner is not required to be present to win the major prize. 

  • Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner by telephone using the contact details recorded on their membership account including calling and SMS. 

  • The winner's Name and membership number will be published on the Club's website. 

• $1000 Attendance Cash Bonus

  • The major prize winner will also receive a $1,000 cash attendance bonus if they are present within The Dickson Tradies when their name is drawn. 

  • The winner must present themselves to Club Management within five (5) minutes of their name being announced and provide their current membership card and satisfactory photo identification. 

  • If the attendance bonus is not claimed within five (5) minutes, the attendance bonus is forfeited. The winner remains entitled to the major prize. 

• Prize Claim & Redraw

  • The winner must claim the major prize by 5:00pm on Thursday, 26 November 2026. 

  • If the prize is unclaimed, a redraw will be conducted at 1:00pm on Friday, 27 November 2026 at The Dickson Tradies, 2 Badham Street, Dickson ACT 2602. 

  • The redraw winner is not required to be present. 

  • The redraw winner may be contacted and published in the same manner as the original winner. 

• General Conditions

  • The promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants.

  • Entries obtained through fraud, misconduct or technical manipulation are invalid. 

  • The promoter accepts no responsibility for technical failures affecting the recording of entries. 

  • In the event of a system failure, the Manager on Duty may postpone the draw. 

  • Once accepted, responsibility for the prize passes to the winner. 

  • Unless otherwise stated, all registration, transfer fees, insurance, licensing and ongoing operating costs are the responsibility of the winner. 

  • The winner will be required to provide proof of identity and current membership before the prize is awarded. 

  • Personal information collected will be used solely for administering the promotion in accordance with applicable privacy laws. 

  • The decision of Club Management is final. 

  • Proxy claims are not permitted. 

• Responsible Conduct

  • This promotion is intended to reward eligible Members for eligible venue purchases. The promotion does not encourage gambling activity and excludes Gaming transactions.
